The authors examine the discourse of commencement speech, analyze its structural and compositional features as well as its pragmatic characteristics. A commencement address may be considered to be a combination of three types of discourse: political, didactic and congratulatory. It is noted that commencement address can be regarded as means of affecting collective consciousness of the addressee. Discourse analysis supposes considering the addresser and the addressee of the speech, the communicative situation, the social context and the contents of the speech. The authors believe that the use of pragmatic means of manipulating collective consciousness plays an important role in the formation of the moral values of a nation. The individuals whose speeches have been analyzed can be referred to the following types determined by their psychological characteristics: rational, emotional, philosophical and artistic. Rational types of speakers use arguments to make the meaning clear. People belonging to emotional types make their speech more expressive, they mostly rely on their feelings. The discourse of a commencement address features not only individual characteristics of the speaker and the speaker’s charisma, but also the speaker’s belonging to a particular linguistic culture. The speech impact exerted on the listeners in the process of public speaking is associated with a certain transformation of the addressee’s individual and collective consciousness. The peculiarities of speech influence are in the fact that certain information is encoded in the speaker’s discourse which is decoded by the listener. This information affects a possible or an actual change of listener’s activity. The authors conclude that pragmatic means play a primary role in the manipulation of collective consciousness and the promotion of moral values.

VERBAL-NONVERBAL THEMATIC DOMINANTS OF MEDIA-MEDICAL DISCOURSE IN THE ASPECT OF FEMINIST THEORY (2024)

The article is devoted to identifying verbal and non-verbal thematic dominants, recorded taking into account the theory of feminism in the texts of media-medical advertisements. The study is based on advertisements for over-the-counter drugs published in German magazines, the placement of which in the country’s media sphere is strictly regulated by a number of legislative acts. The focus is on both the verbal and non-verbal code of these advertisements, containing an appeal to the factor of femininity. It has been proven that the verbal and non-verbal portrayal of woman in the medical advertising discourse of over-the-counter drugs, although limited by the linguacultural parameters of Germany. Nevertheless, it includes a reflection of general cultural priorities, attitudes, assessments and her needs as a woman and mother, preaching values such as health, beauty, healthy lifestyle, well-groomed appearance, caring for loved ones.

СОЦИАЛЬНАЯ ЭСТЕТИКА МЕДИЦИНСКИХ ВИДЕОИГР (2024)

В данной статье рассматривается социальная эстетика медицинских видеоигр как часть современного социокультурного контекста. Авторы анализируют влияние видеоигр на формирование ценностей, сообщений и влияния на общественные представления о красоте, нравственности и справедливости. Основываясь на понятиях социальной эстетики и визуальной экспрессии, авторы обращают внимание на роль видеоигр как формы развлечения, погружения в виртуальные миры и создания уникального пространства для социальных взаимодействий. В статье также освещается процесс становления видеоигр как самостоятельного медиума искусства и необходимость разработки методологической базы для более глубокого понимания и анализа их эстетических аспектов. В тексте прослеживаются примеры медицинских видеоигр, таких как «Sanitarium», «Surgeon Simulator 2013», «Grey’s Anatomy: The Video Game», «Outlast», «Emergency», «Silent Hill», «Plague Inc.» и «ER: The Game», которые представляют разнообразные подходы к отражению медицинских тем в игровом контексте. Автор обращает внимание на важность визуального и звукового оформления игровых проектов, создающих уникальную атмосферу и передающих зрителю глубину и значимость медицинских аспектов. Также описывается образовательный потенциал медицинских видеоигр для студентов и профессионалов медицинской сферы, а также их способность стимулировать обсуждение социальных и этических вопросов, связанных с медициной. В заключение, автор подчеркивает актуальность и значимость социальной эстетики медицинских видеоигр в контексте современных тенденций развлекательной индустрии и общественного восприятия медицинских тем. Главная тема данной статьи заключается в рассмотрении социальной эстетики медицинских видеоигр как формы искусства и влияния на формирование общественных представлений о медицине, здоровье и социальной ответственности.

ОТЧУЖДЕНИЕ ЖИЛИЩНЫХ ПОТРЕБНОСТЕЙ В СТРУКТУРЕ СОЦИАЛЬНЫХ ПОТРЕБНОСТЕЙ ЧЕЛОВЕКА (2024)

В методологическом плане проведенное исследование базируется на критической теории постструктурализма с выявлением функциональности места обитания как определяющей точки вхождения индивида в общественное пространство, впоследствии формирующем его личность. Данный феномен обосновывается тем, что жилищные потребности в структуре социальных потребностей человека занимают особое место, и их реализация является важнейшей функцией не только государства, но и институтов трансформирующегося общества. Однако несправедливость в удовлетворении естественной и крайне важной потребности в жилье табуирована, отрицаема и вынесена за рамки общественного познания социальной несправедливости. Отсюда, актуальность темы обусловлена тем, что жилищное неравенство с ранних этапов истории переживается людьми остро в связи с тем, что жилье, как витальная ценность, распределялось не всегда обдуманно. Выявление особенностей жилищной стратификации в современном мегаполисе подчеркивает актуальность раскрытых вопросов, конкретизируя их до проблемного поля жилищных условий в городском пространстве. Поэтому основная цель заключалась в выявлении усиления социального движения индивида от естественных благ, снижающем вероятность в удовлетворении его жилищной нужды, в условиях современной общепризнанной формации. Объектом обозначен процесс социального дистанцирования потребности человека в жилье в структуре потребностей. В качестве предмета выступает микрофактор жилищной потребности в макрофакторе социальных потребностей индивида.

В статье рассматривается культурный феномен туризма с точки зрения философской рефлексии социального пространства туризма на примере наиболее востребованных туристских регионов Европы.
